Dancing in the Park

You up for starting the weekend early? We are!

This regular summer event is how many Waterloovians first encountered Swing Dancing, and the tradition is now carried forward on a weekly basis by the local swing dance society (KWSDS). Meet us in Waterloo Park Thursday June 19th from 8 to 11 pm. Relax, stroll, socialize, and dance on the boardwalk along Silver Lake... Get there early enough and you can visit the bunnies in the petting zoo! After the Barn Dance on Sunday (June 22nd), why not stick around for Waterloo's most well known tradition? 'Cuz no dance weekend in Waterloo would be complete without a party! Come to Troy's around 9pm and relax with the organizers, socialize, and get a few more dances in before sunrise. House of Troy, Waterloo Sunday June 22 9pm to ???
