What is MezzJelly?

Come experience the power of dance; hang out with other Mezzheads; be original. That's MezzJelly.

Back in 1999 we didn't know what kind of response we'd get when we started putting on events that focused on African-American dance and non-stop fun.

Heck, the first ones were in the living room of a fellow Mezzhead. So we were happily surprised when MezzJelly events kept getting bigger and bigger...and now we host inter-national dance competitions, exchanges, workshops and parties for all our friends!

But wherever we go, our motto is always the same: "To Educate and Amuse." We want to expand knowledge of African-American dances and have a good time doing it -- for both ourselves and for YOU.

Who are Mezzheads?

Every dancer who comes to a MezzJelly event finds something there they can't get anywhere else. Usually, we end up seeing them at almost every MJ event after that. But however often we see you, everybody who keeps the spirit of African-American dance alive
